Put your hands on history and experience historic American military aviation up close! Don’t miss this chance to come aboard the Commemorative Air Force B-17 Flying Fortress Texas Raiders, to tour the iconic bomber plus other historic World War II era aircraft. Noteworthy for their level of restoration and historic importance, these aircraft will appear at their home base at Conroe – North Houston Regional Airport.
The public is invited to enjoy onboard tours, or take the ultimate Living History Flight Experience. These local aircraft include the popular SNJ / T-6 Texan advanced trainer in which thousands of airmen trained for combat, and a twin-engine Navy transport in which the whole family can fly together. All three warbirds will offer cockpit tours and flights to the public on Saturday October 22nd. Tours and flights will be conducted from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM all day, excluding flying times.
The public is invited to enjoy on-board tours and warbird flights with the aircraft crews at General Aviation Services, 5260 Central Parkway, Conroe-North Houston Airport, Conroe, 77303.
Admission to the event is $10 for adults and teens, $5 for children under 12, and $20 for a family of up to five and includes access to all the aircraft for cockpit tours.
Warbird flights start as low as $100 on the Navy transport, and $380 in the trainer. Seats on the B-17 start at $525.
